The Medics Premier League was founded in 2014 in hope of increasing competitive fixtures between Medical School rugby teams. It was created to run alongside the traditional NAMS tournament to give Medic teams the opportunity to play attractive, open rugby against one another, rather than getting stuck in a forward dominated game against local sides on non-NAMS weekends. It is a league format with teams playing both home and away fixtures against one another with the top of the table winning and no knockout at the end.
The MPL for the 2016/17 will involve current holders Birmingham, Southampton and Warwick Medics. Teams interested in joining the MPL for future seasons please email: NAMS.Secretary@gmail.com
